How the grade works
Every slab is a dated snapshot of on-chain facts. The formula is fixed and public; changing it means a new version name, and old slabs keep theirs.
This card
| item | value | cost |
|---|
The formula
grade = clamp( round( 10 - sum of costs ), 1, 10 )
Capped at 8 when any of the four core checks (bundle, snipers, dev, top-10) could not be measured: a coin whose launch we cannot see must not read as certified clean. A check that is not measured costs 0 and is shown as n/a.
| item | input | cost |
|---|---|---|
| Bundle | net % bought by non-creator wallets in the create slot | 6 x clamp((B - 5) / 60, 0, 1) |
| Snipers | % bought in the 4 slots after the create slot | 2 x clamp(S / 15, 0, 1) |
| Dev | % the creator wallet holds now | 3 x clamp(D / 20, 0, 1) |
| Top-10 | % of the 10 largest wallets, pools excluded | 2 x clamp((T - 20) / 40, 0, 1) |
| Freshness | age of the first mint transaction | 1 under 1 h, 0.5 under 24 h |
| Authorities | mint / freeze authority still set | 1.5 each |
| Extensions | risky Token-2022 extensions | 3 |
Subgrades under the loupe
Centering = top-10, Corners = snipers, Edges = bundle, Surface = dev, Freshness = age. Each subgrade is 10 - 9 x (cost / max cost) in half steps.
The card
- HP is market cap on a log scale:
round10(30 + 310 x clamp(log10(cap / 1000) / 6, 0, 1)). $1K is 30, $1M is 190, $1B is 340. No cap, HP reads ?. - Attacks are the three largest wallets (pools, curve and burn addresses excluded). Damage is % of supply x 10; the true % is printed next to it.
- Weakness is what the coin's creator wallet holds now, across all its token accounts (when pump.fun fee sharing moved the curve creator, the wallet that created the coin); none below 0.5 %. Coins not launched on pump.fun show n/a unless Jupiter reports a dev balance.
- Rarity: common under $100K cap, holo from $100K, 1st edition at 90 days old and $250K. Fresh pumps cannot fake 1st edition.
- Cert: every slab is an immutable snapshot with its own number and permalink. A new cert is written only when the grade, HP, rarity, top-3 or dev share changes.
What it does not see
- Linked wallets funded from one source are not detected; a dev can split a bundle across them.
- Bundle and snipers only see the create slot and the next few slots (a few seconds). A bundle bought later counts as snipers or, later still, only shows through top-10 while it is held.
- Tokens held through a program address (multisig vault, locker, escrow) count as pool / program, not as a wallet.
- Coins not launched on pump.fun get holders, authorities, extensions and age only, and a grade of at most 8.
- A slab is not advice. It is dated; the coin can change after it.
Limits
Fresh grades are limited per visitor per hour; cached cards are free to view. Creator images are re-encoded by us and checked before they show.
Holders
Grading any coin, the share image and the permalink stay free. Holding $150 of the token adds foil finishes, grade history with a watchlist, and binder export.
